About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at the Pursuit Collection gift shop. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide courteous and knowledgeable service to customers, answering questions and making recommendations on products.
  • Sales Transactions: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and returns.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out trash.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including receiving and processing shipments, counting inventory, and reporting discrepancies.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Retail Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
