Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate test equipment to conduct thorough testing of electronic assemblies and units.
  • Lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications.
  • Adjust and calibrate systems as required to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed.
  • Use hand and small power tools, as well as various measuring and testing devices, to perform job duties.
  • Determine the types of tests to be performed and analyze test results to evaluate product performance.
  • Assist engineers in designing and developing test procedures for new products and recommend product improvements or manufacturing modifications.
  • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process control procedures.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Solid State devices and micro-circuitry.
  • Proficient in the use of various measurement devices, including Digital Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, frequency Standards, signal generators, and RF Power Meters.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic production environment and produce at a high level in support of customer schedules.
