About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of our projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate with the in-house team and external contractors to ensure all MEP installations comply with project specifications and standards.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, identify potential issues and provide solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule, and prepare status reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections and meetings to monitor progress and quality of work.
  • Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
  • Review and approve contractor and vendor payments, change orders, and other project-related financial transactions.
  • Manage project documentation and ensure all aspects of the project are properly recorded and stored.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the project team as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in the construction industry with a focus on MEP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, mechanical systems, and industry best practices.
  • Proven track record of managing large scale construction projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and other relevant computer applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of construction laws and regulations.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
