We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and service to our customers, ensuring that their chromatography systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and service to customers, including installation, maintenance, and repair of chromatography systems.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to their technical challenges.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring that they receive exceptional service and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest chromatography technologies and techniques, and apply this knowledge to provide innovative solutions to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and marketing, to ensure that customers receive a seamless and integrated experience.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in a technical or scientific role, preferably in a field service or customer support position.
  • Strong knowledge of chromatography principles and techniques, as well as experience with chromatography systems and instrumentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
