Polysomnographic Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at Della Infotech. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing polysomnographic data acquisitions, monitoring study quality, and ensuring signal artifacts are minimized. They will also be responsible for cleaning electrodes, CPAP masks, and other sleep equipment, as well as reviewing sleep study recordings and implementing suggestions for improving quality.
Key Responsibilities- Perform polysomnographic data acquisitions and monitor study quality
- Clean electrodes, CPAP masks, and other sleep equipment
- Review sleep study recordings and implement suggestions for improving quality
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Recognize and respond to serious medical problems per protocol
- Registered by the American Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists or Board Registered in a related field
- Current in CEU's
- Meet criteria to apply and receive Iowa Licensure required by Iowa Department of Public Health
- Two years of PSG experience preferred in a sleep disorders setting
The Polysomnographic Technologist will work in a fast-paced sleep lab environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare staff. They will be required to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
