Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Biller to join our team at Central Business Office, Ambulatory Surgery Division. As a Medical Biller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely submission of claims to third-party payers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign diagnosis and procedure codes for each case using ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding systems
  • Submit and upload insurance and patient bills in a timely manner
  • Apply contractual adjustments and monitor logs to ensure claims are submitted and received properly
  • Correct rejected claims and re-bill in a timely manner
  • Follow-up with insurance companies to ensure receipt of bills within 28 days
Requirements
  • One year of experience in billing in a medical business office
  • Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
