Advanced Care Partner Externship Specialist

UCHealth is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Advanced Care Partner Externship candidate to join our team. As a key member of our Transplant Medicine department, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign collection, blood glucose measurement, and sterile dressing changes.
- Assist patients with personal care, activities of daily living, and progressive mobility.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized care area.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
- Enrollment in an accredited nursing program and good academic standing.
- Completion of first clinical rotation (equivalent to Med/Surg I) with transcripts of successful completion.
- A competitive salary of $24.83 per hour, with pay dependent on relevant experience.
