About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block in Wichita, Kansas. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax planning and audit support to clients, helping them navigate complex tax situations.
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, ensuring you are equipped to provide expert advice to clients.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of tax experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Experience completing individual tax returns and providing tax planning and audit support.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients in person and virtually.
  • Comfort working with virtual tools, such as video conferencing and chat.
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
