Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Logistics Warehouse Specialist at Future Forwarding Company is essential for supporting our expanding operations. This role involves engaging in various warehouse functions, including receiving, picking, packing, loading, and unloading goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and finalize orders for dispatch or collection as per the timetable (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Manage warehouse inventory processes (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Conduct inventory checks and maintain high-quality standards for audits
  • Ensure a clean and secure working environment while maximizing space efficiency
  • Report any inconsistencies as necessary
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Operate and perform preventive maintenance on warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Adhere to quality service standards and comply with established procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Accurately process, pack, and ship orders
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisor/manager

Qualifications:

Essential Experience/Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED is mandatory
  • 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and initiative to fulfill assigned tasks without close supervision
  • Effective communication skills with colleagues
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Warehouse Management Systems

  • Willingness to adapt to a flexible work schedule (including mandatory daily/weekend overtime) with prior notice
  • Detail-oriented mindset
  • Possess a positive attitude and a commitment to a culture of "Safety/Quality/Productivity"

  • Consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Physical endurance and dexterity for prolonged periods of walking/standing in a large warehouse environment
  • Capability to lift or move up to 35 lbs. repeatedly
  • Ability to see, speak, and hear appropriately in a warehouse setting to ensure a safe workplace

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
