Head Cashier

Location: SJFC Haffey Hall

• We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full-time and part-time Lead Cashier role.
• Work Schedule: Flexible hours available, Monday through Friday, 12:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Further details will be discussed during the interview process.
• Experience: Previous experience in customer service is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Compensation: Competitive pay ranging from $18.00 to $19.50 per hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to all guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage and authorize guest transactions, including returns and exchanges, while maintaining accurate cash control.
• Assist in training new cashiers and support cross-training initiatives for other team members.
• Prepare daily cash deposits and manage change and media as required.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and support loss prevention strategies.
• Oversee cashier productivity, scheduling, and performance communication with management.
• Maintain adequate front-end supplies and assist with merchandising and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Fill in for cashiers during absences.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
