We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Associate - Bioanalytical Expert to join our team. As a key member of our bioanalytical team, you will play a critical role in performing and providing bioanalysis services for commercial clients using Softmax or MSD benchwork software and analyzing data in Prism and Excel.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain instrument and reagent inventory according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct immunological assays, including ADA, PK, or Potency assay, as well as cytokine measurement.
- Independently plan and conduct bioassays on various scales for different customers.
- Perform QC analyses to ensure that results meet specifications.
- Perform research and development activities to support new product development.
- Assist Scientists to modify and re-optimize current assays or procedures.
- Complete all paperwork completely and accurately for QA/QC and GLP purposes.
- Operate equipment such as spectrophotometer and MSD plate reader.
- Assist in the training of new and existing laboratory staff.
- Draft and/or edit SOPs as needed.
- Evaluate opportunities for revision of SOPs and make necessary recommendations.
- Bachelor's Degree (Biology, Chemistry, or Life Sciences) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4 years' relevant laboratory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience with ELISA or MSD.
- Good attention to detail, excellent documentation skills, and willingness to work well in a group environment.
- Ability to interact and function in a highly productive work environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel.
- Substantial ligand binding assay experience.
- Prior experience in a GLP or GMP or GCLP environment.
