Job Summary:

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing the annual program budget and managing the day-to-day financial administration, including revenue and expenses, accounts payable and receivable, and staff payroll. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate financial data and staff records, securing and maintaining funding, and writing and submitting grant proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the annual program budget

  • Maintain accurate financial data and staff records
  • Secure and maintain funding
  • Write and submit grant proposals
  • Oversee program development and implementation
  • Manage quality of programs and client satisfaction
  • Coordinate and plan with program staff to provide services
  • Maintain and monitor a multifaceted database
  • Compile demographic and outcome information for internal and external reports
  • Provide work direction, supervision, training, and support to program staff and volunteers
  • Oversee client group facilitation and provide direct client services and case management
  • Develop marketing tools, including brochures, newsletters, and flyers
  • Establish and maintain relationships with funders, stakeholders, and community organizations
  • Network with providers of similar services and promote/represent the program in the community

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or other human service field or a combination of education and experience totaling four years
  • Four years of experience working with a similar clientele with at least one year in a supervisory capacity
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and Motor Vehicle Check
  • Computer literate
  • Strong written and oral communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to research and write
  • Able to demonstrate professional boundaries
  • Able to draw on organizational and interpersonal skills to assure continuous cooperative working relations and open communication among collaborating partners
  • Group facilitation skills
