Document Preparation Specialist

Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority is seeking a highly detail-oriented individual to work in document preparation. As a Part Time Document Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for scanning, indexing, and preparing documents for various departments within the agency.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. You must be dependable, focused, and able to adhere to a production quota. Prior experience with document imaging, including bulk scanning and indexing, is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
Key duties include daily equipment calibration and maintenance, file collection, data entry, and quality control. You will also be responsible for lifting up to 30 lbs. and repetitive motion using a keyboard and mouse. The visual acuity requirements include viewing a computer monitor and paper documents and files.
Working Conditions
This position is based in an office environment, where you will be working closely with others. You must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and client data and ensure security of data and documents.
