About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Style Consultant to join our team at Target. As a Style Consultant, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming and inspiring shopping environment for our guests, while also driving sales and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on current fashion trends, product knowledge, and visual merchandising standards to create a visually appealing store environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales goals and drive business results.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including current styles, trends, and promotions.
  • Ensure the sales floor is stocked, organized, and visually appealing, with a focus on creating an engaging and inspiring shopping experience for our guests.
  • Participate in visual merchandising efforts, including setting transitions, remerchandising new product, and maintaining a brand space following new sets.
  • Support the sales team in achieving sales goals and driving business results.
  • Stay up-to-date on company policies, procedures, and initiatives, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of retail experience, preferably in a sales or visual merchandising role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
