Job Title: Communications Specialist - Developmental Disabilities

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at The Arc Lexington. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a key role in evaluating and diagnosing disorders of communication and swallowing. You will provide essential therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities, as well as training and guidance to our staff.

Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose disorders of communication and swallowing
- Provide individualized therapy services to meet the unique needs of each client
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Educate and train staff on strategies to support individuals with developmental disabilities

Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech/Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current licensure to practice as a SLP in New York State or Clinical Fellow certification
- One year experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred
- Valid NYS driver's license and reliable transportation
