Job Overview

The successful candidate will utilize industry-standard development and programming practices to design, modify, and develop code to support these systems.

  • Develop and maintain software applications using Java, JavaScript, J2EE, JSP, Jython, Python, Perl, PL/SQL, HTML, and XML.
  • Collaborate with end-users to design and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Create intuitive and elegant user interfaces to interact with complex hardware.
  • Develop business logic to interact with data from hardware and user input.
  • Prepare detailed specifications and documentation to write and evaluate software programs.
  • Participate in technical interchange meetings, design sessions, and unit testing efforts.
  • Execute quality controls to meet and maintain established software development standards.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and build positive relationships.
  • Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies to refine the backlog and drive team growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of related programming and development experience.
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of the Maximo application.
  • Excellent understanding of coding methods.
  • Experience using Oracle Databases and writing in PL/SQL.
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage workload without direct supervision.
  • Ability to anticipate potential problems and act to minimize their impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement agile development methodologies, tools, and processes in an operational environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience migrating an on-prem solution to the Azure Cloud.
  • Experience executing within a customer-centric environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum Education:

  • HS diploma with 9 years' IT experience.
  • Associates with 7 years' IT experience.
  • Bachelor's with 5 years' IT experience.
