Compensation & Benefits:

  • The Health Information Technician position offers a competitive hourly rate of $17.00 per hour, with weekly pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile and review health information, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Organize and maintain medical records, including charts and reports.
  • Compile and type statistical reports, such as daily and monthly census.
  • File reports and retrieve health information records as needed.
  • Provide information from health records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Healthcare professional-level CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of health information technology, JCAH, and Medicare/Medicaid regulations.
  • Strong typing and calculation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
