Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including preparing patients for imaging procedures, operating imaging equipment, and analyzing images to diagnose and treat medical conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including administering medications and positioning patients for optimal image quality.
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as gamma cameras and positron emission tomography (PET) scanners, to produce high-quality images.
  • Analyze images to diagnose and treat medical conditions, including cancer, cardiovascular disease, and neurological disorders.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results.
Requirements:
  • Current Texas Nuclear Med Tech License/Certification
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • 1-2 years of recent relevant experience
