Position Overview:
Are you eager to play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our educational facilities? As a Custodian II, your primary responsibility will be to execute custodial tasks that ensure the hygiene and safety of our campus environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, wax, and polish floors to maintain a pristine appearance
- Clean and sanitize restrooms to uphold hygiene standards
- Manage supply inventory and restock as necessary
- Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks
- Assist in the training of fellow custodial personnel
- Ensure the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of custodial experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Strong focus on detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Understanding of cleaning techniques and equipment
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Eagerness to learn and adopt new cleaning practices
