Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Manager of Surgery to join our team at Methodist Hospital Northeast. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in our surgical department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in the surgical department.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and make recommendations for improvement.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree nursing program.
- Three years clinical acute care RN experience.
- One year management experience.
- Current license to practice professional registered nursing in the state of Texas.
