Job Summary
As an Animal Care Associate in our Breed Department in Raleigh, NC, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and health of our research animals. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the success of our clients' research and development efforts.
Key responsibilities may include:
Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of animal enclosures and facilities.
Providing high-quality animal care, including feeding, watering, and monitoring animal health.
Receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming animals.
Performing health observations, administering medications, and taking blood samples as needed.
Collaborating with the animal care team to ensure the well-being of our research animals.
Job Qualifications
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Enjoys being part of a team and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Local to the Raleigh, NC area.
Role Specific Information
Location: Raleigh, NC
Pay: $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:00am-1:00pm, Friday, 4:00am-8:00pm
Weekend rotation required.
