Medical Surgical Float Pool Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Float Pool team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center. As a key member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the safe and accurate delivery of care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, develop, and implement individualized plans of care
- Collaborate with the care team to revise and evaluate the plan of care as needed
- Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy
- Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff as appropriate
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient care
- Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team
- 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- NIHSS certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
