We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide exceptional support for our clients utilizing Amada Automation Systems. This role encompasses various responsibilities, including the installation, maintenance, and training on our advanced machinery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Expertly troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control systems, as well as network configurations.
- Accurately interpret layout drawings and blueprints essential for equipment installation.
- Prepare and submit daily service reports and weekly expense documentation.
- Communicate effectively in English to ensure clear understanding with clients.
- Foster excellent customer relationships and ensure thorough follow-up.
- Oversee the complete equipment installation process at client locations, which may involve physical tasks such as using hand tools and maneuvering in various positions.
- Provide training on operation, applications, software, and part programming capabilities.
- Utilize Amada applications software for line control and part programming tasks.
- Engage in regular travel within designated territories.
- Lift and handle weights up to 50 lbs as required.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proficiency in Spanish is considered a valuable asset.
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
This position reports directly to the Regional Service Manager.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
A Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a minimum of an Associate degree with relevant experience is preferred.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to analyze and repair various systems including mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical, and electrical.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, Volt/Ohm meters, and oscilloscopes.
- Competent in using computers and familiar with Windows operating systems.
- Ability to read and interpret both mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Demonstrate accountability and responsibility in providing service and support throughout the customer’s experience with the machinery.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Regular travel within assigned territories, including occasional overnight stays.
COMPENSATION:
Hourly rate of $30.00.
