Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our geriatric setting. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing and be able to work well with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:- Provide quality nursing care to patients, following physician orders and facility policies.
- Administer medications as ordered by physicians and maintain accurate records.
- Supervise and guide nursing assistants to ensure timely completion of work assignments.
- Assist physicians with rounds and physical examinations as needed.
- Perform treatments and document patient care according to facility policies.
- Adhere to infection control measures and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist with research related to nursing care.
- Current, valid license from the South Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to work well with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Dependable and flexible with a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
