We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.
Key Responsibilities- Process and dispense medications and pharmaceutical supplies in a timely and accurate manner.
- Supervise and assign tasks to pharmacy technicians, ensuring they have the necessary skills and experience to perform their duties.
- Review and verify physician orders for accuracy and completeness, prior to dispensing medications.
- Provide information and education to physicians and other staff members on new medications, warnings, and other relevant information.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care and medication administration.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and medication management.
- Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm) degree.
- Current licensure in the state of Texas and Sterile IV certification.
