Job Summary:

As a Line Cook at Layne's Chicken Fingers, you will be responsible for preparing our fresh daily hand-cut chicken, breading it in our uniquely seasoned breading and frying it to perfection in our state-of-the-art fryers. You will also be responsible for manning our griddle plate where we toast our authentic Texas toasting bread, and grill our cheese and bacon for our famous club sandwiches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring high-quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Assist with food preparation, including breading, frying, and grilling.
  • Work collaboratively with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a fast-food or restaurant environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 55 pounds.
