Job Summary

Texoma Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma, seeks a skilled Licensed Social Worker to join our team. As a key member of our behavioral health department, you will provide essential social work, case management, and counseling services to patients and families affected by psychiatric illness and substance abuse issues.

As a Licensed Social Worker at Texoma Medical Center, you will be responsible for orienting families and patients to our treatment program, encouraging active participation, and providing individualized support to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  • Provide social work, case management, and counseling services to patients and families experiencing psychiatric illness and substance abuse issues
  • Orient families and patients to the treatment program and encourage active participation
  • Identify and address the special needs of patients in the adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups
  • Manage time independently and prioritize work effectively
  • Communicate effectively with all types of patients and caregivers
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling-related field
  • Licensed as a qualified mental health professional (LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LPC-A)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Ability to identify and address the special needs of patients in the adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups
