Job Summary:

The Product Development Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the Product Development Manager in the development of women's and men's Denim categories. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to assist with various tasks related to product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development process by creating and distributing packages, tracking incoming packages from overseas vendors, and troubleshooting customs issues with courier services.
  • Manage style updates and fabric information in various Excel charts and Google Sheets, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor, track, and check in samples from the proto stage through the SMS stage, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Support the team with day-to-day communication with vendors, including design and fabric mills, to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Partner with design and fabric mills to create and distribute color palettes, obtain color approvals, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist with the production handover process, organizing SMS swatches and trims, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Process and issue purchase orders in Full Circle, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Travel between company offices and local vendors as needed to transport samples, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with Full Circle is a plus, but not required.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
