Job Title: Advertising Sales Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Advertising Sales Account Executive to join our team at Our Sunday Visitor. In this role, you will be the primary liaison between our advertising clients and our creative and production team, ensuring that client needs are met with exceptional service and innovative advertising solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nurture strong relationships with clients, representing Our Sunday Visitor as a professional advertising consultant
  • Achieve annual individual advertising revenue targets through solicitation and placement of advertising in Our Sunday Visitor and affiliate products
  • Maximize growth of individual advertising revenue from prospecting and up selling, creating effective proposals, and working within set guidelines
  • Establish and maintain accurate data entry in the CRM database for client interactions
  • Understand the marketplace and competition to better advise clients
  • Attend assigned meetings and maintain a sound knowledge of Our Sunday Visitor and affiliate products
  • Meet deadlines and recognize the importance of collaboration and respect when working with others
  • Keep the Advertising Sales Manager informed on all aspects of activities
  • Encourage a positive work environment and experience for clients and coworkers
  • Take initiative and responsibility for decisions as an individual and as an employee of Our Sunday Visitor
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year in sales with some knowledge of advertising
  • 2-3 years of work experience in office, sales, or customer service
  • Knowledge of printing is a plus but not required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Ability to effectively use and research on the internet required
  • Demonstrated familiarity with using standard business computer application(s) and/or ability to learn current and new applications required
  • Ability to effectively use office equipment required
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Associate's degree preferred
Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to assist in marketing decisions and ad placement, and able to consult client as needed
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to build a professional, personal relationship with client and coworkers

  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to hold confidentiality of information found in departmental databases, accounting, pricing structure, etc.

  • Ability to resolve problems and involve Advertising Sales Manager as needed
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Ability and willingness to continually learn
Working Environment:
