Job Summary:

As a key member of our Ski Patrol team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our staff and guests on the mountain. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a high level of alertness, dependability, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote Guest Safety: Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries on the mountain.
  • Trail Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and accessibility of our trails, including closures, safety material deployment, and avalanche mitigation.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and incidents on the mountain, providing critical care and assistance to injured guests as needed.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including snowcats, snowmobiles, and other vehicles, to support trail maintenance and emergency response efforts.
Requirements:
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey safety information and instructions to guests and staff.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and supplies.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork, with the ability to work collaboratively with other Ski Patrol members and resort staff to achieve common goals.
  • Adaptability: Be able to adapt to changing weather conditions, trail closures, and other environmental factors that may impact ski operations.
