Position Overview:

The Ladders is seeking a Corporate Senior Financial Analyst to become a vital part of our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and document journal entries for the general ledger.
  • Assist in the creation of intercompany billing.
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts on a global scale.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and documentation of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to ensure precise coding.
  • Act as a support resource for the consolidation team utilizing Hyperion HFM and FDM.
  • Accrue and prepare for various expenses.
  • Document processes to facilitate cross-training among team members.
  • Provide comprehensive accounting support while engaging with various departments across the organization.
  • Assist in the documentation, monitoring, and review of internal controls.
  • Prepare necessary information for annual financial audits and other compliance audits.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and analyses as required.
  • Develop and refine accounting procedures by evaluating current practices and suggesting improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Experience in a multi-entity corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting functions and internal controls.
  • Proficient knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and Word.
  • Capacity to grasp new concepts and apply them effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Adept at managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of personnel and external partners to enhance performance and improve processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA certification or a Master’s degree in Accounting.
  • Experience with foreign currency revaluation and translation in a global context.
  • 1-3 years of audit experience with a public accounting firm.
  • Familiarity with Hyperion HFM or FDM.
  • Experience with ERP systems and integrations.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards ERP.
  • Experience with Blackline software.
  • Background in insurance or reinsurance sectors.
  • Familiarity with service contracts and warranty processes.
  • Experience in distribution inventory management.
