Event Staff Position at Sonoma Speedway

Sonoma Speedway Motorsports is a leader in the entertainment industry, offering an exciting and dynamic work environment.
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Ticketing team as an Event Staff member.
About the Role: The Event Staff will be responsible for supporting ticket sales at the main gate during events, including NASCAR and NHRA races, bracket drags, sonoma drags and drifts, and track rentals. This involves preparing for gate sales, printing and updating event day signage, assisting with gate seller setup, and reconciling cash and credit card transactions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong attention to detail. They will also be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and demonstrate high integrity and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Support ticket sales at the main gate during events
- Prepare for gate sales, including printing and updating event day signage
- Assist with gate seller setup, including seller sheets, bundle tickets and credentials, and cash and credit card reconciliation
- Reconcile cash and credit card transactions
- Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Flexibility to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends

Estimated Salary: $48,000 - $60,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and assuming a moderate level of overtime. This estimate takes into account the location and job requirements, and is intended to provide a general guideline only. The actual salary may vary based on individual circumstances and performance.
