Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Professional to join our team at the State of Florida. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide basic nursing services to students under the direct and/or indirect supervision of the Community Health Nursing Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Administer first aid, daily medications, and emergency medications to students and/or staff as requested and ordered by a physician.
Provide needed health care procedures to students as trained by their Community Health Nursing Supervisor. These include but are not limited to intermittent clean catheterization, gastrostomy tube feeding, and monitoring blood glucose.
Organize and assist with state mandated health screenings such as hearing/ vision, scoliosis, and body mass index.
Maintain accurate records/documentation of all work performed.
Requirements:
Must possess a valid Florida RN license or a Multi-state RN license from another compact state.
Access to transportation.
Valid Driver's license.
CPR and First Aid Certification.
