Overview:



Welding is a crucial process that involves the fusion of metals, or occasionally plastics, through heating, melting, and combining to create a bond with characteristics akin to the original materials. The primary elements required for effective welding include a heat source, which may be an electric arc, flame, pressure, or friction.



Key Responsibilities:



Utilizing various welding machinery.

Focusing mainly on aluminum, steel, and galvanneal, necessitating advanced skill levels.

Evaluating materials or structures that require welding.

Supervising processes while being vigilant about overheating and safety protocols.



Job Requirements:



Interpret technical drawings and weld materials according to client or organizational specifications.

Set up machinery as needed.

Conduct preventative maintenance as necessary.

Inspect finished welds for any defects or imperfections.

Perform safety and quality assessments.

Comply with all safety regulations.



Qualifications:



High School Diploma or GED/equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year of welding experience.



Additional Information:



On-the-job training will be provided, but candidates must possess prior welding experience.

Training will occur during standard first shift hours.



Shifts Available:

2nd Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM

3rd Shift: Sunday to Friday, 11:30 PM - 7:30 AM



Required Equipment: Steel Toed Boots
