Responsibilities:
  • Classroom Management: Design and maintain an engaging, safe, and welcoming environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Curriculum Delivery: Effectively implement our unique L.E.A.P. Curriculum, tailoring your teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers.
  • Safety Commitment: Ensure a nurturing atmosphere where children can thrive safely.
  • Parental Engagement: Communicate regularly with families regarding their child's development and achievements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance retention, enrollment, and engagement.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong connections with families and coworkers to create a harmonious learning environment.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Requirements: Must comply with state-specific guidelines for the position. A High School Diploma/GED is required, with ECE coursework preferred.
  • Experience: Significant experience in childcare settings with a focus on leadership roles in the classroom.
  • Compliance: Adhere to state and federal regulations, including health and safety training.
Caregiving Competencies:
  • Ability to identify and mitigate potential risks in a childcare environment.
  • Ensure children's daily needs are met, including hygiene and nutrition.
  • Promote positive social interactions and conflict resolution skills.
  • Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities.
  • Exhibit patience, professionalism, and composure at all times.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and carrying objects up to 40 pounds.

  • Maintain mental and physical alertness to perform essential job functions.
