As an Early Childhood Educator at The Learning Experience, you will be more than just a teacher; you will be a beacon of joy and inspiration. Role Responsibilities:
  1. Classroom Leadership: Design and maintain a vibrant, inviting environment where children can thrive through play and learning.
  2. Curriculum Implementation: Skillfully deliver our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
  3. Safety First: Ensure a secure and nurturing atmosphere where children can flourish.
  4. Family Communication: Keep parents informed about their child's development and achievements through various communication methods.
  5. Center Collaboration: Work collaboratively with center staff and leadership to enhance retention, enrollment, and engagement.
  6. Relationship Builder: Foster warm connections with families and colleagues, creating a harmonious environment for learning and play.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Must comply with state-specific requirements for the role. A High School Diploma/GED is required, with ECE coursework preferred.
  • Experience: Significant experience in a childcare environment, particularly in leadership roles, with a strong passion for early childhood education.
  • State Compliance: Adhere to state and federal guidelines, including health and safety training.
  • Caregiving Skills:
    • Ability to identify and mitigate potential risks in a childcare setting.
    • Ensure children's safety and meet their daily needs, including diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
    • Promote good social skills and conflict resolution.
    • Engage children in developmentally appropriate activities.
    • Exhibit patience, professionalism, and composure consistently.
  • Physical Resilience:
    • Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and climbing.
    • Maintain alertness and energy to fulfill essential job functions.

Compensation: $17.50 per hour
