Behavioral Health Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Avera Behavioral Health Center. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of adolescents and children.
About the PositionThis Registered Nurse position is available in our Adolescent Program, a 40-bed unit, and our Child Program, a 14-bed unit. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with depression, anxiety disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and addiction or suicidal behavior.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a structured and age-appropriate therapeutic environment.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices in behavioral health.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork and compassion.
