We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Avera Behavioral Health Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in our patient-focused settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the hospital and nursing home infection prevention program in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Work closely with the Department Director to solve unit problems, provide adequate staff, and improve unit processes.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the unique needs of our patients.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic and comprehensive team, including physicians, social workers, case managers, and patient care technicians.
Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of SD or multi-state privilege to practice in SD if residing in a compact state outside of SD.
  • CPR, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certification or completion upon next available program.
  • Varied shifts available.
