SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES is collaborating with a leading automotive manufacturer to recruit a Senior Electronics Systems Engineer to enhance our dynamic team.

This position is a permanent hire opportunity, not a contractual engagement.

Role Overview

The primary responsibility is to deliver advanced vehicle functionalities, dynamics, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) solutions by leveraging existing hardware and software, or developing new solutions tailored for the North American market.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop innovative hardware and software solutions specific to the North American automotive sector.
  • Define and communicate requirements to both internal teams and external partners.
  • Oversee project timelines, track progress, and manage associated risks.
  • Document design solutions to align with various sales variants.
  • Ensure that all solutions undergo thorough verification and validation against established requirements.
  • Adhere to relevant regulations for both current and future model years.
  • Address market-specific and customer-specific requirements effectively.
  • Align product strategies with competitive positioning in the market.
  • Create scalable and forward-thinking solutions while maintaining cost efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in Embedded Software and/or Automotive Electronics is essential.
  • Experience in the Truck or Passenger Automotive Industry is highly advantageous.
  • Prior experience with Body Control Modules, ABS, and ADAS systems as a component owner is required.
  • Strong understanding of CAN and LIN networks and protocols.
  • Ability to decompose system-level requirements into components and user functions.
  • Proficient in design documentation and software configuration, linking them to sales variants or similar.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and Agile large solution teams.
  • Knowledge of North American regulations relevant to commercial transportation is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written, with experience in collaborating with global teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when necessary.
  • Proactive and open-minded, with a capacity to generate ideas and see them through to implementation.
