We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner Transport to join our team at Methodist Children's Hospital. As a critical care respiratory therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered respiratory care in a specialized critical care area.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and diagnose patients with cardiopulmonary disorders, utilizing in-depth assessment skills and performing comprehensive patient assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, collaborating with the patient, significant others, and healthcare team members.
- Administer respiratory care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system.
- Perform diagnostic tests to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disorders.
- Deliver ECMO therapy to support patients with severely impaired heart/lung function.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- State Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Care Practitioner program.
- Certificate in Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP) certification.
