Job Title: Director of Quality and Continuous Improvement Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Quality and Continuous Improvement to join our team at Armtec Defense Technologies. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our quality assurance functions and developing processes to ensure our products meet customer requirements and performance is predictable and stable. Key Responsibilities: * Provide leadership for problem-solving efforts on process and supplier issues, as well as customer concerns * Supervise Quality Manager, Auditing, and Configuration Management functions * Develop and lead Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, and SPC activities throughout the company * Identify areas to collect data for key processes for data analysis, promoting immediate actions to address quality issues, driving them to resolution * Develop and implement an effective corrective/preventive action system to prevent recurrence of production, quality, and system deficiencies * Professionally coordinate with customer and government representatives on quality requirements * Provide effective initial and continual Contract review for Quality Assurance specifications and adherence * Prepare budget for Quality Assurance activities and operate within the budgets * Manage the functions involved in the quality program in formulating their goals and in training personnel * Generate Management Reports on the progress of the Quality program Requirements: * BS degree, preferably in Engineering, and five to ten years of experience in Quality Assurance with three to five years in Management * Knowledge of Government specifications and ISO 9000 requirements * Self-motivated starter demonstrating maturity with responsibilities and analytical skills * Good communication skills and high degree of integrity * Ability to interface and work productively with all employees * Ability to read and write English and compute college-level mathematics, including statistics * Strong interest in pure and applied research to improve product quality and reduce operational costs in all stages of Quality and Manufacturing * Sound ability in technical writing Armtec Competencies: * Must be able to demonstrate ability in the Armtec competencies for all employees, including customer focus, ethics & values, problem-solving, integrity & trust, functional/technical skills, listening, action-oriented, composure, and values diversity Work Hours: 4/10 workweek To Apply: Please apply online on the Armtec Career Website, www.armtecdefense.com Equal Opportunity Employer: M/F/Disability/Protected Vet Must be a U.S. Citizen
