Staff RN Telemetry Per Diem

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry team on a per diem basis. As a Staff RN Telemetry Per Diem, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with the healthcare team, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel.
- Documents initial and ongoing patient assessment in a complete, concise, and timely manner according to policy and procedure.
- Develops and modifies an effective, comprehensive, and individualized plan of care, including discharge planning, for assigned patients, utilizing standards of care developed by the hospital.
- Applies knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served, including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Initiates and coordinates patient teaching according to identified needs, integrates, delegates, and coordinates patient care using an interdisciplinary approach.
- Delegates responsibilities for care, when applicable, and makes assignments according to the skills of the caregiver.
- Evaluates patient responses to interventions according to established policy and procedure.
- Demonstrates an ability to plan and supervise other patient caregivers in providing patient care on the unit while functioning as a professional role model.
- Administers medication and performs treatments, utilizing principles of aseptic technique, to assigned patients according to established policy and procedure.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN preferred.
- Minimum of one year of RN experience.
- MA RN License.
- BLS and/or ACLS required.
- Additional certification required where applicable.
