Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams, including monitoring vital signs and responding to emergencies
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, including cleaning and sterilizing MRI machines and disposing of hazardous materials
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited MRI program or equivalent experience
  • ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent
  • TX Medical Board License
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
