Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately measuring and documenting patient vital signs, along with medical histories and interviews.
- Effectively communicating patient needs to the healthcare team, including primary care providers, clinicians, and specialists.
- Assisting physicians during examinations and routine screenings, while clearly explaining treatment procedures to patients.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.
- Performing medical procedures as directed, including collecting lab specimens and conducting basic tests.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Completion of a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent healthcare training.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Medical Assistant role or similar position.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is mandatory.
- Experience with geriatric patients is advantageous.
- Preferred familiarity with EMR systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on empathy for patients and families.
