About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a key member of our Account team, you will work directly with customers to help them accelerate their cloud implementation and modernize their business on AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and modernize applications, software, and services on the AWS platform.
  • Provide architectural guidance and recommendations on running applications efficiently and reliably on AWS.
  • Communicate complex ideas to a non-technical audience and connect technology with measurable business value.
  • Participate in deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS.
  • Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications, such as blogs, white papers, and proof of concepts.
  • Share customer feedback with internal product management and engineering teams to drive the future of AWS cloud.
  • Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using AWS.
  • Formulate and execute strategies to achieve business outcomes through the adoption of the AWS platform.

Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in specific technology domain areas, such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
  • Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
