Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at BKF Engineers. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of site development projects, including grading and drainage plans, utility systems, and roadway design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of site development projects, including grading and drainage plans, utility systems, and roadway design.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to prepare project status reports and internal reports.
  • Supervise and coordinate a team of engineers, drafters, technicians, and other support staff to ensure successful project completion.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
  • Prepare and review project specifications, cost estimates, and other technical documents.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in site development, design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, utility systems, and roadways.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited curriculum or equivalent.
  • Professional Engineering license in the State of California is preferred.
  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D mastery required.

Pay and Benefits
