We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, including vital sign checks, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and disposing of biohazardous waste.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Alaska.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
