Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Blowmold Operator to join our team at Dairy Farmers of America. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our blowmold equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect conveyor lines for damaged bottles and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Operate and Troubleshoot Equipment: Safely operate bagger and debagger stations, troubleshoot issues, and implement minor repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Train and Develop Team Members: Share your expertise with colleagues and provide training on blowmold operations to enhance team performance.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain open communication with other departments, management, and employees to address any issues or concerns that may impact efficiency.
  • Document and Analyze Data: Accurately document all required information in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and analyze process data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure Food Safety and Quality: Report any food safety or quality-related issues to management immediately and maintain a safe working environment for employees.
  • Comply with Regulations: Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety, as well as DFA's good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and corporate regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and development.
