We are seeking a compassionate and patient Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will work one-on-one with children and families with autism to implement learning programs, collect data on target behaviors, and communicate with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Implement individualized behavioral intervention plans with the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide one-on-one developmental and behavioral support to children with autism in their home setting
- Collect data on target behaviors and communicate with stakeholders
- Maintain client confidentiality and regularly meet with direct leaders
- A high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with children ages 0-18 years in a daycare or classroom setting
- Passion for helping children with autism and making a real difference in their lives
- Patience and compassion with the ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if not had in the past year)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds
- A starting hourly rate between $15-$18 that increases based on experience, certification level, and opportunities to make an impact in the life of a child with special needs
