Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team at EverVet Partners. As a critical member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in medical and surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians in medical and surgical procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
  • Restrain and handle animals of various species for examination and treatment, demonstrating a strong understanding of animal behavior and handling techniques.
  • Administer medications, collect laboratory samples, and perform other medical treatments as directed by veterinarians.
  • Take high-quality digital radiographs and import laboratory and radiographic data into patient medical records.
  • Manage and oversee medical treatments, including collecting laboratory samples, administering SQ fluids, and placing IV and urinary catheters.
  • Assist in stocking exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgery rooms, ensuring a clean and organized environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Veterinary Assistant Certification or equivalent experience preferred.
  • At least one to two years of experience in a veterinary setting, with a strong understanding of animal behavior and handling techniques.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, clients, and staff.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
